Registration and Hotel Information Procedure
The online registration form should be used for the Congress Registration, Hotel Reservation, Social Programme and Excursions.
All participants must submit a completed online registration form.
The Neurogastroenterology & Motility Joint International Meeting requires the full data for each individual participant, including updated postal address and Email address.
Registration Deadlines
Save on the registration fee by registering before 16 July 2008!
Presenting authors of accepted abstracts will be able to register at the early bird fee till 31 August 2008.

The exchange rate at time of printing (September 2007) is CHF 1.- = € 0.61 / CHF 1.- = US$ 0.83.

Payment
Full payment should be received before the relevant deadline.
To facilitate processing, participants should clearly indicate in all remittances their name, address and the purpose for which the payment is made. Either of the following means can be
used for payment:

Group Registrations
For group registrations, a minimum of 10 participants is required.
Please contact the Congress Secretariat, MCI Suisse SA, to obtain the group registration form. Congress documents and bags can be collected as early pick-up upon request.
Confirmation
A confirmation of registration and payment status will be sent to the individual or company that requests registration. Confirmation will be sent only when the corresponding payment is received. Participants should bring the letter of confirmation to the registration desk at the Congress venue when collecting their documents.

Hotel Accommodation
MCI Suisse SA has reserved a large number of rooms in different hotel categories and offers discounted rates for NGM 2008 participants.
Only reservations made through MCI Suisse SA will benefit from these rates. The majority of the hotels are located in the city centre. The Congress Centre can be easily reached from all hotels by public transportation.

Since Lucerne attracts many tourists, please reserve your room not later than 9 September 2008. Hotel accommodation is subject to availability, requests received after this date will not be guaranteed. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Availability of rooms in each category is limited. Names of persons sharing rooms must be indicated. Rates are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and are per room, per night, service and VAT included. Participants are asked to complete the Registration and Accommodation Form, indicating their choice of hotel by order of preference.
Reservation and Payments
Reservation and payment: Only guaranteed reservations will be accepted.
To guarantee your reservation a deposit covering one night is required, either by bank transfer or by credit card (deposits will be deducted from the final hotel bill when paid by the participant at the hotel). Please indicate the participant’s name and “NGM 2008” on ALL payments. From 23 September 2008, only payments made by credit card will be accepted.
Inquiries
Any inquiries or requests for additional information, changes or cancellations of room reservations should be addressed directly to MCI Suisse SA by Email or in writing.
Group Reservations
Group reservations will be handled by MCI Suisse SA with separate contracts. Please contact MCI Suisse SA for further information.
Changes of Hotel Booking
All changes to hotel reservations will be performed by MCI Suisse SA. Please do not contact the hotel directly. All changes must be requested in writing. A handling fee of CHF 50.- per hotel room will be charged for every hotel modification received after 7 October 2008.
Cancellation of Registration, Social Programme and Accommodation
All cancellations must be sent to MCI Suisse SA in writing (fax, letter or Email).
Cancellation of Registration
For cancellations received before 23 September 2008, deposits will be refunded less CHF 100.- for administrative costs. After this date, no refund will be possible. A handling fee of CHF 50.- per registration will be charged for every hotel modification received after 7 October 2008.
Cancellation of Excursions
Full refund will be granted if written notice is received prior to 7 October 2008. For cancellations after that date, no refund will be made. Full refunds will be made if an activity is cancelled by MCI Suisse SA due to lack of participation.
Cancellation of Accommodation
In case of cancellations up to 23 September 2008, CHF 100.- for administrative costs will be charged onto your credit card, or CHF 100.- will be deducted from your payment before refund. After this date, deposits will not be refunded under any circumstances. In case of late cancellations (after 23 September 2008), rooms cancelled, cancelled nights or no show, the first night stay will be retained and we reserve the right to charge the full stay if the hotel room cannot be re-sold.
Check-in/Check-out Time
Hotel check-in time is 15:00 or later. If you are arriving after 18:00, please notify in advance. Check-out time is noon.

Methods of Payment
All payments have to be effected in Swiss Francs (CHF). For hotel bookings: a deposit payment for the first night must accompany the hotel accommodation form. Additional expenses such as mini-bar, laundry, etc. must be paid directly to the hotel when checking out. |
